The Hydrographic Society of America - New England Chapter 2023 Lobster Bake

When: Thursday, July 13, 2023, 5:00-9:00pm

            Happy Hour 5:00-6:00pm, Dinner 6:00pm

Where: 3S Artspace - 319 Vaughan St, Portsmouth, NH 03801

Tickets: Advance ticket purchase required, ticket sales close June 30th (2 weeks prior to the event) or when event sells out (100 people max)

Ticket Cost (includes dinner): $30 academic/government/non-profit; $60 THSOA member; $70 guests

Dinner Options (choose one):

1. Lobster dinner: steamed Maine lobster, clam chowder, cultivated mussels, fresh-dug Maine steamers, roasted new potatoes, corn on the cob, cornbread and dessert.
2. Carnivore dinner: Slow-smoked pulled pork, hickory smoked chicken, marinated steak tips, roasted new potatoes, corn on the cob, cornbread and dessert.
3. Vegetarian dinner: Fresh mixed-vegetable grill with marinated portobello mushrooms, asparagus, eggplant, zucchini, summer squash over wild mushroom ravioli in pesto sauce, rolls/butter, and dessert.

Each guest will receive two drink tickets, and cash bar also available. Door prizes will be given.

3S Artspace is located in downtown Portsmouth, a short walk from all of the hotels and establishments in the area. The event will begin with happy hour in the courtyard outside 5:00-6:00pm (weather permitting), followed by dinner inside the event hall. All attendees must purchase a dinner ticket; max 100 people. Small children can accompany ticketed adult; please contact organizers so children can be included in head count.

No onsite parking. Some/limited street parking. Sheraton Public Parking lot is very close by, and Foundry Place Garage and Hanover Garage are also good options.
